The Journey Zinger Folding Power Wheelchair is unlike anything else in personal mobility. It's not a scooter. It's not a traditional power chair. The Zinger is a category of its own — a zero-turn personal electric vehicle with a dual-lever steering system inspired by zero-turn mowers, giving it a 24-inch turning radius that's roughly 50% tighter than comparable power chairs. It weighs just 42 lbs without the battery, folds with a single pull of a release cable, and rolls behind you like luggage once folded.
Zero-Turn Steering. Instant Precision.
Two independent steering levers control the Zinger's rear drive wheels independently — pull one and pivot, pull both and stop. The result is ultra-responsive, nimble movement that turns completely on the spot, threads through narrow aisles, and reverses cleanly in tight spaces. Three speed settings let you dial in your preferred pace: Low (0–1 mph), Medium (0–3 mph), and High (0–6 mph). Reverse capability is built in at all speed settings.
Handles Almost Any Surface
The Zinger's 9" pneumatic rear wheels absorb bumps and handle transitions between surfaces that flat-free solid tires can't. Grass, dirt, packed gravel, ramps, and minor uneven terrain are all within its range. The aluminum and nylon composite frame keeps the weight low without sacrificing rigidity, and the anti-tip wheels provide backup stability on steeper inclines up to 10°.
FAA Approved. Folds in One Pull.
The removable 36V lithium-ion battery is FAA approved — carry it on board while the Zinger is treated as oversized luggage at the gate. Removing the battery is quick and simple, streamlining the boarding process. Once folded with a single cable pull, the Zinger collapses to just 10 inches tall, rolling easily into a back seat, trunk, or closet. The travel basket keeps your essentials organized throughout every trip.
Journey Health & Lifestyle warrants the frame, mechanical and electrical components including the motor to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the original purchase date. The originally supplied battery, tires, fabric seat, seat back, and seat cushion are warranted free from defects for six (6) months from the original purchase date. If within such warranty period any component is proven defective, the product shall, at Journey Health & Lifestyle’s option, be repaired or replaced. In some cases an installation kit with instructions may be provided. This warranty does not include any labor charges incurred in component installation. Journey Health & Lifestyle’s sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to such repaired or replaced product.
